Residence permits

Grounds for obtaining the residence permit in Latvia:

1) Investment in subordinated bank loan in the amount of 280,000 € and payment of state fee 25 000 €.
2) Purchase of one real estate object for 250 000 € and payment of state fee 5% of the real estate purchase value. There is a possibility to buy two real estate objects for the sum stated above in several regions.
3) Acquisition of government bonds for 250,000 € and payment of state fee 38 000 €. In this case annual registration is not required.
4) Investment in capital of the Latvian company 50 000 € and payment of state fee 10 000 €, subject to the payment of taxes 40 000 € per year. Investment in capital 100 000 € and payment of state fee 10 000 € , if the company employs more than 50 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet exceeds € 10 million, subject to the payment of taxes 100 000 € per year. Or investment in capital 100 000 € and payment of state fee 10 000 €, if the company together with one or several its Latvian daughter companies employs more than 50 employees and their total annual turnover or balance sheet exceeds € 10 million.
5) Employment in Latvian company.

Residence permit is available for investor and his family members – spouse, underage children.
Reviewing documents by the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs of Latvia takes up to 5 working days.
